between snow days and sick days, Jolon made it to school for a grand total of 2 half days in the last two weeks. Just when the strep throat cleared up and the fever, shakes, and vomiting were gone for 48 hours, he got another high fever, which the doctor finally determined was just a virus. And then back to the doctor the third time to figure out what the horrible rash was all about. Having done some "research" online, I was already a bit freaked by the rash and then at the doctor's office between the nurse and the doctor's consultation, an intern snuck in and proceeded to scare me to death with some other possible explanations which I hadn't come across on WebMD......Anyway, he's much better now and somehow the rest of the family managed to avoid the strep, which is highly contagious. And after so many weeks of freezing temps and sludgy snow, it looks like we have a week of weather in the 50's and 60's! Happy Valentines Day.
