Best Batman Party ever. Kellan is 4!

Christmas 2009

We had a lovely Christmas with Grammy and family, but I have to say, I really missed good friends and good food at Jackie's house. I hope you guys had a wonderful day.

Hard to believe Kellan will be 4 on Friday. When I went to pick him up at school today, his class was sitting together in the hall. His teacher told me that the 3 girls in his class had been fighting over who was going to get to sit next to him. He's requested a batman cake so I'm trying to sort that out for the party this weekend.

Snow days

The boys have been off school all week. With 8 inches of snow on the ground, we've been able to do some good sledding. But mainly we've been indoors with the kids roaming around the house looking for things to do. Jolon has read bunches of books to Kellan, they've done lots of dress up, and plenty of coloring. This afternoon we made snow ice cream and called it Grandpa's snow cream because he used to make it for me and the boys when we were little. They all LOVED it.

The weather has been much too cold for my liking lately, but it has left lots of time for baking. Kellan has been my main helper but keeping Esme out of the way is the real challenge.
