Kellan got a pumpkin today from his preschool and the boys intently watched Grandpa carve it tonight after dinner. We told Kellan to give it a name and gave him several good suggestions but he insisted that the pumpkin's name was Jackolantern. So, meet, Jackolantern. We're planning to light him up lots between now and Halloween, or H Day, as Jolon calls it because he is so scared of Halloween, that he doesn't even like to hear the word! Not sure exactly where this fear came from, perhaps connected to some of his fears and insecurities from his new school. He seems to be doing very well, but it's still new to him and there's so much to process in these first few months.
