Theater re-opened downtown

I took the boys to celebrate the re-opening of the downtown theater. Although we didn't splash out on the $1,000 Gone with the Wind (fund-raising) tickets, we had lots of fun watching Wizard of Oz for free on an outdoor screen. Snowcones (kakigori) and popcorn made it even better. It was the first time for both boys to see the movie, and although they did get pretty scared, they watched it all and have been talking about it ever since.

Japan

Just wanted to say how much we've been thinking about everyone in Japan. Thankfully, Hiroshima is far away from where the earthquake and tsunami took place and all of our friends are safe, but I know that all of you have been affected in countless ways. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
